Here is a list of projects to choose from for your units. Click on the project name for a general rubric and on the link to get to the website with the tool. Refer to the unit sheets for specifics.

You will be given certain project options for each unit. However, if you can come up with a creative, appropriate project from the list below that shows what you know about the current unit, you may use it. You MUST get teacher approval before changing your project type.

Possible Project Types

  • Blog
    • Create a blog that discusses and shows understanding of the topics examined in the unit.

  • Write a story
    • Create a fictional story that uses the main concepts found in the unit as the basis for the story.
    • Complete this on Google Docs and share it

  • Write an essay
    • Write an essay on the topic of the current unit. See the teacher for possible ideas.
    • Complete this on Google Docs and share it



  • T-shirt
    • Create a t-shirt that shows the main concept of the unit. You must supply your own shirt and paints.


  • Cartoon
    • Create an animated cartoon about the topics in the unit.

  • Children’s book
    • Create a children's book explaining the topics in the unit to a 5-year-old.

  • Online scrapbook
    • Create an online scrapbook about the topics in the unit.

  • Song/rap/dance
    • Create a song, rap, or dance explaining or showing the topics of the unit. These should be recorded and shared with the teacher online.

  • Skit or play
    • Create a skit or play showing the topics in the unit.

  • Read and summarize an article
    • See the teacher to obtain an article related to the unit. Summarize it in your own words on Google Docs and share it with your teacher.
    • Not available for every unit.

  • Create a lab
    • Create a lab that shows how the theories or topics in the unit work.
